Snow on New Year's Eve

Okay, so I'm working... and bored to death! It's such a slow, dead day here in the office. Aside from me, only four other people are around in our department. Ho-hum! My only consolation, I guess, is that I have such a pretty view outside my window. Snow covered the trees and the almost empty parking lot --- it's just a winter wonderland out there! If I am not scared of cold weather, I probably would have gone snow-shoeing with two of my colleagues too... but that type of sport is not for me. I'm happy to stay indoors, warm and comfy while enjoying the view.

I don't like winter, but days like this makes me want to change my mind. It's just so beautiful out! I feel almost like a character in some quaint winter story, or a figure in one of those pretty winter scene photos. A cup of hot cocoa with some marshmallows and I'm content to just stay in my little corner.
